I got another chance to hostess at Sassy Cheryl's this week and I set our theme as "Butterflies"...perfect for Springtime weather unless you live on the outskirts of Tornado Alley like I do. There just doesn't seem to be many butterflies that seem to hang around this neck of the woods... they must know something we don't!
So for my project for this week's challenge, I used a stamp from the Cheryl Alger collection at Kraftin' Kimmie's. Cheryl has created so many darling little characters for her fans who happen to love rubber as well as those who are hooked to her digital images... Lucy, Lulu, Avery, Noah.. and there's more. I'm not sure that this little gal has a name, but I love her nonetheless.
I'm a pretty patriotic soul to begin with, but I must have been in a particularly patriotic mood when I selected the paper and colors for my card. This little gal is just ready for firecrackers and sparklers!
Seem's I'm always needing a thank you card, so what better sentiment than that. She was colored with Prisma pencils.. my choice of coloring when I need to get into a Zen-like trance and block out stressful things like INCOME TAX RETURNS!!! UGH!
Thanks so much for stopping by... I do hope to see your creativity at Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week, so come join us!
