Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Hello and Happy Thursday! Here in the greater Kansas City area we are really being pounded with a lot of rain. If I don't post for a few days, we're probably busy building an Ark! We are due for several more storms throughout the next week or so, and it hasn't been much of a decent Spring.

This Teddy might look familiar to you as I made another card using this image yesterday. The image is from Doodle Palace. I made this card for two specific challenges.. the Digital Tuesday challenge and the Copic Colour Challenge.

The digital challenge this week is sponsored by Dustin Pike and our theme is "April Showers Bring May Flowers". Since April is historically very wet, the challenge is to create a card (or 3-D item) using digital images that represent rain, a storm, or the beautiful Spring days that May brings.

For the Copic Colour Challenge, we were to use at least these three colors in our image: Acid Yellow (Y08), Brick Beige (E31), and Mint Green (BG13).

It's not very often that I am able to participate in two challenges with one card! That's a major score, agree?

Can you tell that I spent a part of my day coloring digital images? This is from Doodle Palace, a company that is very new to me… and the owners, Robin and Dee tagged my blog as a neat blog to watch.. then invited me to check out an opportunity for this free image. How cool is that?

You can check out their blog here. This darling image is from their digi-stamp collection. I colored him with Prisma pencils and created my own sentiment using MS Word. Something about him just spelled ‘missing you’. If you get a chance, stop by their website and see what's going on!
