"New Beginnings"'... that's our theme at Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week, set by my teammate, Sassy Ann.
Since there's no new babies coming along soon for any of my friends, no new house to celebrate, I chose to think about my New Year's resolutions for this year... and that is to simply take things a little easier. You know, like 'stop and smell the roses' more often; enjoy the simple things in life. Life is stressful enough, right?
Here's my contribution for the challenge this week. This little girl has the right idea.

Where do you get all the tiny little props for your photos.. these little books are just the sweetest ever!
You have the right idea Peggy, taking things easy and a slower pace would be the perfect way to start and fill out the new year.. lets see how that works out.. we seem to keep getting back into the old routine of everything fast pace and really busy. but we can try for sure!

What a kind and gentle card, beautifully executed. I love that you used the embossed hearts for something like this, it shakes up the mindset to use it only at Valentine's and so on, and works wonderfully for this card. Love your coloring and technique.
