For this special day, I've made this card that I will give to my son... to honor him and his service as a soldier. We are a pretty patriotic family... and so many of our family members proudly served before him throughout the generations.
and here's my personal hero....he looks pretty serious but has a great smile.

I have never made a card, but am going to give it a try. I have been looking for something that I could do from a recliner. My lungs and chronic asthma have put me in the hospital for 8 days and have made me homebound for a month, and as of Friday the Dr. gave me another 2 weeks of being locked in the house.
I am going to search through the house to see what I can find to work with. I am so excited to try to create. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration that you have given me.
