My Stop on the Hop - Operation Write Home

Hi blog friends! Welcome to my 'stop on the hop'. I'm so glad you stopped by. If you arrived from Susan's blog Seoulscrappin, you are right on target. If you landed here at the Wired Angel first, you will want to start from the beginning so you don't miss a thing... there's lots of great prizes and blog candy along the way that you have to check out.

For this special day, I've made this card that I will give to my son... to honor him and his service as a soldier. We are a pretty patriotic family... and so many of our family members proudly served before him throughout the generations.

and here's my personal hero....he looks pretty serious but has a great smile.

To celebrate Memorial Day, I've got some blog candy up for grabs... in addition to the items shown below, I have a $10 gift certificate to Sassy Cheryl's shop where you will find some fantastic digital images. Cheryl Alger was kind enough to contribute this gift certificate for this event.

All you have to do to enter for the blog candy is leave a comment on this post.... and followers that leave comments get two entries. I'll pick one random winner on Tuesday.. You might be the lucky person.

(Items include: 2 pkgs. Halloween glitter rub-ons, Cricut cartridge "Stretch Your Imagination", Just Rite 2" sq. wood stamping block, Pebbles Inc. Scrapbook Paints, 2 pkgs of Mary Engelbreit dimensional Christmas stickers, SU Vintage Labels, Tombow Mono Adhesive, Happy Birthday embellishments, Fall "Fresh Stickers", ColorBok Doo-Dads, Alphabet Soup embellishments, and a $10 Gift Certificate to Sassy Cheryl's shop.)

Your next stop on the hop is Brianne - wait til you see her lovely creations at her blog "Crazy, Beautiful Days".

Enjoy your day... and have fun at the hop.  Thanks so much for stopping by and good luck in the drawing. 'Til next time, be safe in all you do.

Hugs,

Hi Peggy Sweetie...
I am Country Wings your newest follower. I am so excited about your blog and cannot wait to see what you share next.

I loved your card. How very precious and going to such a handsome young man. He is beautiful sweetie. Please thank him for me for serving our beautiful country.

I have never made a card, but am going to give it a try. I have been looking for something that I could do from a recliner. My lungs and chronic asthma have put me in the hospital for 8 days and have made me homebound for a month, and as of Friday the Dr. gave me another 2 weeks of being locked in the house.

I am going to search through the house to see what I can find to work with. I am so excited to try to create. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration that you have given me.

I also want to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to win a giveaway. Beautiful eye candy sweetie. I am crossing my fingers.

Please stop by and say hi. I would be so honored if you signed up to follow my blog as well.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
