Shades of Gray

Hi everyone... are you having a terrific day today? 'Sure hope so. Hang in there.. the weekend is approaching!!

Well, Thursday at The Wired Angel means another challenge from Mo's Digital Pencil. And this week, our hostess Lisa has challenged us to a "Shades of Gray" card or project. Wow.. Lisa comes up with some terrific stuff.

So, after pulling a few bits of my hair out, I came up with "Sinatra", this darling image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored the yarn to create a yariegated look (if you are a knitter or crocheter you will know what I mean) with various shades of lavendar, lilac and purple. Then I covered that with two shades of gray -- all with copic markers -- to maintain the gray theme but take the color gray up a few notches.  All items are from my stash.

The designer paper doesn't look very gray in this picture, but in real life, it's more gray than shades of tan and beige.  Hope you like it!

'Til next time, be safe in all you do. Sending hugs from here to wherever you are in this wonderful world...

Such a cutie Peggy, I'm hoping to enter Mo's Challenge this weekend. Being back at work is not much fun, means I only have evenings to craft and before you know it, time has caught up with you. Take care, hugs Sharon x

Such a cute card! I love that image by Mo's and you did a great job with the colouring so it looks natural, AND stuck to your challenge of shades of gray :-) I too am looking forward to the weekend.
