Brrrr....!!

The weather outside is frightful... and inside it's truly delightful.

We've been getting snow since about noon today...(it's now past 10 p.m.) with an expected accumulation of about 6+ inches. My DH is supposed to go to fly to his office in New Jersey tomorrow a.m... but I doubt he'll get out. (SHUCKS!!).. I was counting on a DD (dinnerless day). On the other hand, I'm tucked and nestled inside enjoying my fireplace, a beautiful snowfall and some crafting time. The pantry, refrigerator and freezer are stocked. What more could a girl ask for? Oh.. and there's a great Cab from France... I'm set!!

I will have to share a pic tomorrow to show you how truly beautiful it looks outside.

For Mo's challenge, our Design Team hostess for January, Lisa Cook, has challenged us to create a birthday card using one of Mo's images. So I went to town and included the sketch challenge at Mercy's for a double dip! I just love Mercy's challenges and those of her guest Muses. They are so talented!

This is "Patience" from Mo's Digital Pencil.. and this little cherub is adorable. Just look at the whimsical look on her face. I have several 'favorites' from Mo's collection that I find myself using over and over.. and Patience is one of them.

Following Mercy's sketch, I colored this with Prisma and Lyra pencils and used various designer papers from my stash.

The images at Mo's Digital Pencil are amazing. If you are a
coloring freak (like me) you have to stop by her shop and check them out.

'Til next time.. have fun in all you do.. and be safe.

I love Mo's pics Peggy and you colour them in so beautifully. I'm very nervous to purchase anything over the Net, so will just admire from afar and wait for the freebies when they pop up! I'll pop around tomorrow to see what pics you've posted. It sounds wonderful and cosy by you, I can't wait for Autumn to arrive. In Winter we just get rain, rain and more rain! Take care, hugs Sharon
