Mo's Challenge #7

Happy Thursday everyone. It's hard to believe that we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving in a week here in the States and December is right around the corner! Then the frenzy will be in full gear! So, in the meantime, I hope you are enjoying a beautiful Fall day and a bit of relaxation wherever you are.

Caryn is our challenge hostess at Mo's Digital Pencil for the month of November, and this week she's put together a recipe challenge for us this week. Our project is to include:
  • 3 papers
  • 2 ribbons
  • 1 decorative edge
And, here's what I've come up with.

This image is called "Moving" and it's available at Mo's shop.  Isn't this little guy adorable? 'Reminds me of when I decided to run away from home as a kid about the age of five or so, probably because I didn't get my way on something. So, I loaded up all of my wordly possessions into grocery sacks (I don't think we owned a suitcase)... and headed out the door into the big world of New York City. My Mom and Aunt B were having tea and watched me fill bags, go back and fill another, but never said a word. Then I left the house, got to the corner of the intersection and realized that I wasn't allowed to cross the street... 'had to turn back. I had humble pie for dinner that night.. How funny is that??

I colored this with prisma pencils, scored some cardstock to create a shelf, stamped the boat, and used a decorative edge.

So check out our challenge and play along with us. The lucky winner receives an image from Mo to add to their collection!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a terrific day and be safe in all you do!

This is so cute Peggy - I did the same when I was about 5 too - didn't live in a scary city like you but still got to the end of the road and had to turn back!! Lol.
