Yesterday I blogged about having all kinds of cards on hand that are displayed in my Craft Grotto.. but not much for 'good luck’, ‘get well, or ‘wedding-type’ cards. So I am continuing to remedy a part of this and make it my present focus. This card fits the bill for my get-well needs.
Today I worked on one of the newer Dustin Pike images that I bought earlier this week. I just love his images, but the dragon animations are so great. And this little dragon is quite adorable. Doesn’t your heart just break for what he’s enduring?
I purposely left off a sentiment (as I typically do) so I can add something appropriate just before I mail off the card to the recipient. All of Dustin Pike’s collection are so much fun to work with. And, of course, I chose to use my favorite type of coloring medium, Prisma and Lyra pencils worked with odorless mineral spirits. Hope you like it!
Details: White cardstock, unknown scraps from my scrap bin (trying to stay ‘green’), SU Perfect Plum, Prisma and Lyra pencils, odorless mineral spirits, SU Sale-a-Bration ribbon, SU punch, SU dimensionals, SU scallop punch.
