A Spot of Tea
Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing several cards made using the Art Impressions Door Ways series. This is one of the first clear image stamp sets I purchased...and then like the good shopper I am, I bought more and more! Can you relate? My friend Katy says I’m a stamp enabler!! What a wonderful compliment. And, yes, it’s true.
These sets are interchangeable.. and I love the versatility. Sometimes I cut the doorway using an Exacto knife and stamp the sentiment inside. Often I use small brads in copper, silver-tone, or brass for the doorknob. The stamps are great for water-coloring, pencil-coloring, and paper piecing. I just received the new Shoppe series for the bakery, cafe, and tailor. Watch for some more pictures of those this week.
Here’s my version of Brumbles Bakery. On a rainy day, a pot of tea is perfect to share when catching up with a friend.
Details: Art Impressions Door Ways Stamps, Prisma pencils, paper piecing, SU dimensionals used to pop up the paper-pieced lantern and umbrella, white cardstock, Basic Grey designer paper.
