After a bit of blurfing, I came upon this pic.. it reminds me of my trips to the French countryside where sleepy little towns have little hotels with rooms that overlook beautiful, quaint gardens and candle-lit courtyards in the evening. (Sssh..quiet....don't tell anyone, it will be our little secret, but when I run away from home, that's where I'll be).
I could stay in 'le jardin' forever.. away from all of the hustle and bustle.. with a good book or some really good conversation, a baguette, and a good French wine... red or white, I'm not picky!!!
and here's my card for the challenge.
I tried to make the edges of my card as rusty looking as the wrought iron chairs in the photo using Ranger distress inks. My image was stamped on watercolor paper and I used SU reinkers to color. The bowl and papers have some French writing and are perfect for my theme. It's fun to dust off some older supplies and get reacquainted.
One very lucky random winner will receive a digi of our choice and a winner's badge to display. The Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot. It's a fun challenge and I hope that you will join us this week and show us your inspiration.
