Hi friends! Happy New Year to everyone.
At Mo's challenge this week, Lisa is our hostess and her theme is "God Bless the Beast and the Children". I used two images from Mo's that would appease my sense of humor.
This reminds me of my own childhood... Rumor has it that at the ripe age of three, unbeknownst to my parents, I took my newborn sister out of the crib and brought her into the kitchen where my parents were enjoying a cup of tea... After all, my parents did bring home a new doll just for me and she was mine!
To this day she has neck and shoulder problems. Might there be a connection??? Well, fast-forward a 'few' years and she has forgiven me.
But I do remember moments just like this...
Do you create cards based on some of your childhood memories?
Have a fantastic holiday weekend, everyone. See you back here next week. Be safe in all you do.

Hi Peggy. Great card and your sentiment made me laugh. Brilliant!
Tine :)
I SOOOOO love this one Peggy!!
Darling card Peggy (of course)and, I love the humor. I was an only child so this was never a problem, but I know it's classic! Happy New Year to you and yours, Dru
Hi Peggy,love this!!
Hugs Heidy
Your card definitely made me smile this morning! It was the opposite at my house. I was 10 years old when my sister was born. She was such a joy! I sat by her bassinet for hours just watching her sleep.
A stunning card Peggy, just love how you've combined the 2 images. I have a similar story... also picked up my baby sister who was crying, took her to my Mom and said "Can't you hear your baby's crying?". Happy New Year to you dear, Sharon x
Peggy your card is so adorable. I love, love the sentiment and the little girls. Fantastic job! Hugs, dj1952
Peggy, this is hilarious. Love the two images together, do I have to ask which one is the Beast?!? LOL. Happy New Year to you GF.
Hi Peggy
Happy New Year !
All the best in 2011
Very sweet and cute card!
Adorable card and a sweet story!
Wishing you a fabulously happy new year! Can't wait to see your 2011 creations.
Hi Peggy...this is just darling!! I love the simplicity of this card. The white embossed background and buttons beautifully showcase these two images!! Both are such cutie patooties!!! I remember when my brother was born (I was 4), and I truly wanted him taken back to wherever it was they got him from!! When I was 6, tho, my baby sister was my very own babydoll!! Thanks for bringing back such fun memories!! Gorgeous little work of art!! Pat Frank
Peggy, This is so precious! Those two images are perfect together. It would make a great card to welcome the second baby in a family.
