Crafting for a Cause - A Quick Survey

When I'm not coloring and making cards, I keep pretty busy making afghans and lap robes for our veterans at local VA hospitals.  Here's some of my recent projects that I'm about to mail off.

Will you let me know your favorite from these?  Just pick one as your favorite and leave a comment. I'd love to know which of these really caught your eye. Your help is most appreciated.

I love that you create these in between card making! Each one so different but so pretty!! I learned how to crochet in 5th grade from my grandma and still do so today but not lately. I've tried knitting but never really picked it up, it was hard using 2 needles at that age...LOL! Anyway I will have to go with the blue and grey plaid.

I was going to say the grey one, but then I saw the blue plaid. It is so unusual. Kinda reminds me of the pot holders we used to make as kids. I have to say it is my fav. Thank God there are caring people like you in the world. Wonder why you never make the nightly news?

Well I think you are fabulous to be doing this for veterans and I'm sure that whatever the pattern or colour - the effort you put into these is very much appreciated by the recipients. But if you really need to know which one your visitors enjoy then I would have to say I like the plain (because its more versatile) and especially the tan aran fleck ribbon because it is a warm colour and a sophisticated elegant design whereas the grey is a little dark for my tastes and perhaps a bit more "country casual" in design. They are all splendid though! Warmest wishes, Lesley

They are ALL gorgeous! What a gift of love. My BFF made one of these beauties for me and one for my mother-honestly, it's like being a babe in arms again-feels so safe, warm and comforting! While I love them all, I think I find the Tan Aran Fleck Ribbing the most personally appealing.

Peggy, wow! you have been busy.
One year right after Christmas, I started knitting one for everyone in the family, for the next year. It was so much fun picking out the yarns and patterns..
I am drawn to the blue colors on the first one, but then I love the softness of the next light brown one.
they are all fantastic. hard to pick just one!
