Sassy Cheryl's Challenge

Hi friends... it's Tuesday and that means it's challenge day at Sassy Cheryl's! Our hostess this week is Cathy (with a "C") - my buddy...

Cathy challenged us to make an altered notebook using a Sassy Cheryl image. Personally, I'm a list/goal-oriented person, so I love books like this. But I'm sending it to my adopted soldier.. my newest friend, so she can use it to journal, or whatever. She hasn't found my blog as yet, so it's still a surprise.

I don't have a pic of the 'before' of my notebook..(DUH... tough week here at the Wired Angel's Craft Grotto)  but trust me on this one, friends, it was simple and BORING!!

With a bit of designer paper, 4,320 pieces of ribbon (just joshing!) and this darling freebie image from Sassy Cheryl's (was available at PCP, not sure if it's still there) I was able to alter this book to create this little darling. What you don't see is that it has an elastic band on the right side that holds the book closed. I bought these at my local dollar store about a year ago.. major score, folks!

Join us at Sassy Cheryl's challenges... her images are so whimsical and fun...and there's new images all the time. The DT has a blast creating all kinds of stuff.  Hope to see you there!
