The Wired Angel: It's a Sassy Cheryl Day

Hi Sassy friends.. every Tuesday it's time for a challenge at Sassy Cheryl's and this week our very talented hostess, Alina, has put together a challenge about birthdays. I chose to celebrate the birthday of America. It's a strange celebration at our home because my DH is English. So, he says it's the day that the English beat themselves... yup.. he's right...!! And the US won that battle...!!!

And being the patriotic soul that I am, I had to create this special card.. hope you like it.

Daisy Doodles - Summertime

I hope that you enjoy and celebrate our freedom on July 4th. It's a day that is often overshadowed with BBQ's, hot-dogs and too many margaritas for a lot of people. I hope we all remember the true reason for such a special day. I'm having some friends over...and expecting that we will have a great day. There might even be a bit of crafting for the ladies...
