Annie... get your gun!

Today is our challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil and this week our hostess, Sheila, created a challenge making easel cards. These are a lot of fun to do. If you haven't tried it yet, you'll enjoy it.. I promise!

This image is one I've never colored before... (yep.. I've got several of those in the 'to-do' pile). Her name, of course, is Annie... as in Oakley.  I was quickly reminded of Bernadette Peters in the Broadway Revival of Annie Get Your Gun... she did a fabulous job. One of the Jonas' brothers was in that rendition also (I think it was Nick). 'Funny the things we remember.. right?  Don't mind me.. I'm getting ready for a Trivial Pursuit competition.

I was really in a 'pile it on' mood... can you tell? Kind of a stretch from my much more simpler style.

I'm also entering this in these challenges....

Card Patterns - Sketch
I {Heart} to Stamp - Sketch
Mark's Finest Papers - Buttons and Bows
Aly's Sunday Challenge - Stitching

I checked for an obscure holiday for today.. pretty boring, actually. It's Iced Tea day... go figure! It's bound to get better than that. Next week's obscure holidays sound so much more promising.

See you soon... thanks so much for stopping by. Be well and stay safe.
