And then the Queen said...

There's a bit of explaining behind this card. We recently had my DH's Dad and Step-Mum, Maureen, visit us from the UK. During their visit we played the game "Taboo". If you aren't familiar with it, it's hysterical and guaranteed to bring many laughs. There's a word you try to get your partner to say to win the point. But there's also a list of words that you can't use as clues.

Well, Maureen was my partner. Everytime it was her turn to give me clues she began her sentence with (use your best British accent here) "Well, when the Queen does this"... or "If the Queen were to..." or "When the Queen travels"  Well, you get the picture. The Queen's antics became our mantra for the rest of their visit. Like how would I know what jam the Queen uses on her crumpets?... or what's in that little purse she always carries..car keys, tip money and a change of underwear?

Today is Maureen's birthday and this card is somewhere enroute to London.

This darling image created by Michelle Perkett was just perfect for my project. She also has a challenge going and I'll enter it there.

I'm entering this in these challenges.

Michelle Perkett - 3 P's (3 papers, 3 black pearls, pink cupcake, petite figure, pouffy dress)
KL Stampin & Scrappin - Girly
Our Creative Corner - Corners
One Stitch at a Time - Celebrations
Busy Beauties - Anything Goes

Happy Birthday Maureen! You are royalty in my book!!
