Christmas Stampin' - Paper Piecing

Happy Friday friends! Hopefully everyone is gearing up for a great weekend and enjoying some signs of good weather and Spring (Autumn, for my friends down-under).  It's so cold here lately that this card with signs of snow almost felt natural!

Today is our weekly challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long (CSAYL) and this week our hostess has challenged us to do paper piecing. I thought this 'almost' vintage stamp "Miss January, Gabrielle" from D.O.T.S. would fit the bill perfectly. I love the way her little outfit turned out.

Recipe: The designer papers are from 7 Gypsies and the Carolyn Holt Collection, SU Mellow Moss paper, pearl beads, copic markers for her face and cheeks, SU rub-ons, Wrights' Lace seam binding.

I'm linking this up to these challenges:

Shirley's 2 Girls - Favorite color
The Play Date Cafe - Color challenge
Die Cut Dreams - Use Lace
Colour & Create - Color challenge
Pixie Dust Studio - Use pearls
Spoon Full of Sugar - Cute & Girly
Crafty Calendar Challenge - The Great Outdoors

Thanks so much for stopping by.. I love reading your comments. I hope that you will play along with us at CSAYL. It's a great way to get some holiday cards done ahead of schedule.. and it keeps the stress level at bay!

Ciao for now!

It wonderful! I've always loved paper piecing--it hides my mediocre coloring! LOL I know you don't have that problem though.
