April Fools!

Okay... so I'm jumping the gun by a few days... but I truly have faith that once April arrives the chance of more snow diminishes. Yup.. I'm a prisoner of hope and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Quick post today...I just had to do some card-making with all of the images I've been coloring lately. Once the colored image stack gets about 6" high it's time to make cards.

This is a darling image from Sassy Cheryl's.. guaranteed smiles from everyone that eyes it. It's perfect for April Fools Day but if I had thought about it several weeks back, it would have been a perfect image for Mardi Gras too. Did you know that the Court Jester was the model for the Joker in a deck of cards?

I colored the Court Jester with Prismacolor pencils using Gamsol onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. The DP's are from my scrap pile.

I'm entering this in several challenges:

Ohh La La Creations - Buttons, bows, bling
Polly Craft Challenge - Sparkly things
Creative Card Crew - Going dotty
My Time To Craft - Masculine
Stampin Inspirations - 3 designer papers from scrap bin
Our Creative Corner - Sketch

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your Sunday and until next time, be safe in all you do.

Oh my this is so fun! What a great image and you have colored it beautifully. I am like you, when the pile of colored images gets to a certain point, I have to sit down and make cards with them before I color again!

This is terrific! I forgot about April Fool's Day and need to think up a joke to play on the hubby. Last year, my daughter told him that we were having steak for dinner and he came home to fish sticks and french fries! LOL He was really fooled!
