Happy New Year!

This week for Mo's challenge, Lydia, our December hostess has posed another great challenge... to make a card or paper project for a 'new beginning'... 'might be a new baby, a new job, a new home, or even for the New Year.

So in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year (officially February 14th) and the year of the Tiger, I've used this adorable image from Mo's collection, called "Fan". I think she's perfect for this occasion.

I also used this layout for the sketch challenge this week at Crazy 4 Challenges.

I hope 2010 is a terrific year for you, bringing lots of health and happiness to your home... in this economy we could all use a little bit of help.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time, be safe in all you do.

Details: "Fan" from Mo's Digital Pencil, copic markers, sentiment from SU, Neenah Red Pepper 80lb cardstock, white cardstock, Nestabilities circle die, designer paper from DCWV Citrus collection, SU oval punch, pop dots.

Hi Happy New Year!

I'm not sure if you can help but my name is Shelly, I won challenge 6 of Mo's Challenge on 18th Nov 09 and still haven't received my image from Mo? Unfortunately I no longer have her email addy on my pc so wondered if you could get this message to her? I expect she must have been pretty busy toward the end of 2009 so hasn't had time to contact me?

Oh, super little card, love the colouring!

Hugs Shelly ;)

I've been searching for ideas for Chinese New Years cards for some colleagues and was so happy to find this, I'd forgotten about that image from Mo's. Thank you for the ideas and inspiration!
