I've got two challenge cards to share with you today.. the first is for Elaine's Quixotic Paperie challenge. The challenge this week is to include lace in some form...easy peasy. I used this image of Mummu from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored it with Prisma pencils. I LOVE Mo's images.. the detail she puts into her drawings is always so amazing and you haven't already, you need to check out what she has in her shop.
So, I chose some lacy hem binding that I inherited from my Mom's sewing supplies (made me smile to be able to use it). Mom would have loved to be working along side me making cards and various papercrafts.
And now the card for Mercy's sketch challenge. I really admire Mercy's style... her sketches are always so well done. One of my resolutions for 2010 is to participate in her challenges more often. In addition to great sketches, there's a really nice and very talented group of ladies that are part of her team.
And my take on the sketch challenge...
For this card, I used this adorable snowman from Darcie's LLC. Yes, admittedly, I have an affinity for cute little snow people.. in case you haven't noticed. It was colored with Copic markers, and I used the Nestabilities dies for the snowflakes and added lots of glitter.
'Til next time, be safe in all you do.

Both are awesome, but I esp like the snowman. Those snowflakes are just gorgeous. And I am a coffee lover (and snowman lover) - so it's perfect.
This card is a great addition to your "mo" collection of beautiful painted images. Love the shades of pink used in this new card!
Fantastic coloring, Peggy! Love the image as it is so fun and whimsical!I also love the sketch card! Great mix of patterns and design!
Both are fabulous, Peggy! I just love Mummu though, she's so awesome!
