Do You Believe?

yes, I believe....

Hi everyone... I wanted to show you this final item from our Girl's Night Out get-together last week. For this card, we used the new Santa image from Flourishes. This stamp is so versatile. Can't you just image it used for everything from from a shabby-chic look to something ultra sophisticated? So, I think I'll be playing with this stamp throughout the year creating lots of variations and for many more Christmas seasons to come. Personally, I think the possibilities are endless.

This image was stamped with brown ink onto Neenah's cream cardstock, 80 lb weight. The edges were distressed with Tim Holtz' tea dye and mounted on Neenah red pepper linen cardstock which was slightly distressed with the side of my scissors. I used Copics BG000 for some slight color in Santa's beard and brows.. and added glitter to make him glisten a bit! Santas always have a bit of glistening and a bit of a sparkling personality, don't they?

This project also is made for Elaine's challenge using Kraft and red as the main colors of the card. I'm so easy to please.. two challenges in one card and I'm thrilled!! And I'm in awe when crafters can do MANY challenges in one card.. WOW!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting.. it means a lot to me! 'Til next time, for those of you in the States.. have a wonderful Thanksgiving. To everyone, be safe in all you do.

Ciao for now...
