Christmas Gift Card Holders

This first card was one of the items we made at our Girl's Night Out... it was very simple to make, but packs a lot of eye appeal with this 3-D look. It's definitely not something to send in the mail, but lovely to hand to someone or tuck inside the branches of the Christmas tree.

The trees were cut using the Christmas tree die from Nestabilities and I used four trees that I scored down the middle and glued together. 'Tipped each of the branches with liquid applique and heated it to puff it up. I used a simple cord for the top and red organdy ribbon for the tie. The gift card holder is a template I found on SCS.

This second card we also made at our Girl's Night Out. It was colored with Copics and the ladies learned a bit of shading on this project. This is ideal to hold a Starbuck's gift card... Yum-O! I can almost taste a Decaf Latte!

This last card was made using a simple Christmas tree stamp, a simple sentiment, DP from my scrap bin and white organdy ribbon.

These work up so fast and are perfect ways to personalize holders for gift cards for all those on your list! I've got several more to make for all of the gift cards I'm planning to purchase this year. It sure beats taking things back and standing in long lines!

Thanks for stopping by.. and until next time, be safe in all you do.
