Another Winter Scene

Happy Monday everyone!

I'm still in a brayering mode... 'did this card last night and love the look. This is another one of those stamps that hops off the shelf at the stamp store and screams out "buy me, take me home and brayer me!" and then it mystically lands in my shopping basket. I'm not sure how it happens...Does that happen to you too?   :)

I used a medium blue and navy for the background brayering. The deer stamp is very "impressionist"... the artist's rendering leaves intentional spots on the stamp blank and makes the image interesting. It's "Let's Play" from Penny Black.  After doing my initial brayering, I created a mask using a post-it note to create the hills in the background and the moon. I stamped the deer in Versamark, then in a cocoa brown ink and embossed with a mixture of Dazzling Diamonds and clear embossing powder. The shrub was stamped in Versamark and olive green and then embossed.  The sentiment is a rub-on.

Braying is a lot of fun to do and I hope you will venture out and test it yourself!

Enjoy your day, and be safe in all you do.
