A Winter Welcome

This is one of the newest Christmas and Winter digital illustrations from Mo’s Digital Pencil released within the last week. There are several that I’ll be coloring and making into cards. The details in her illustrations are amazing and this reminds me of a New England winter… hot chocolate, peppermint schnapps, fireplace…well, you get the picture.

I made this card for the Christmas Stampin’ All Year Long Challenge #31 at Paper Craft Planet. This week our hostess, Sankari, put out a challenge to create a card in any shape except our normal 4”x5” card (A2 size).

Door Welcome

I stretched the image so I could create a card that would fit into a #10 business envelope (4 1/8 x 9 1/2”). I love this classic and clean look.

Thanks for stopping by.. enjoy your day, and be safe in all you do.

Details: I used liquid appliqué and SU’s iridescent ice on the snow, and crystal effects to create icicles on the doorway and on the shovel to give it a metallic look. The poinsettias are made using a Punch Bunch punch. Colored this with prisma pencils.. ribbon from DeNami. Cardstocks are red linen, 80# white. I used a gold pen to outline the edges of the white cardstock.
